Gold Prices Skyrocket by ₹12,000 in 12 Days, Silver Also Sees Substantial Jump
Gold prices have surged in India, with both gold and silver witnessing significant increases over the past 12 days. According to recent data, gold prices have risen by ₹12,000, while silver has become costlier by ₹24,000 during this period.
In Bhubaneswar, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold is currently at ₹1,54,860, with 22-carat gold priced at ₹1,41,950. The price of one kilogram of silver has reached ₹2.60 lakh.
The rising prices are attributed to factors such as expectations of easier US interest rates and strong gold purchases by central banks. Global economic uncertainty is also contributing to the surge in precious metal prices.
