Gold Prices Skyrocket in Nepal's Local Market
The price of gold has surged in Nepal's local market, rising by Rs 3,600 per tola (11.66 grams) to a new high of Rs 305,200 today. This significant increase follows yesterday's price of Rs 301,600 per tola for hallmark gold. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association has announced the updated prices.
The price of silver has also seen an increase, reaching Rs 4,710 per tola after rising by Rs 50. On Friday, silver was traded at Rs 4,660 per tola. According to international market reports, gold is currently trading at USD 4,377 per ounce and silver at USD 64 per ounce.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association has fixed the current prices for fine gold and silver in line with these updates from the international market.
