Gold Prices Soar Amid Escalating US-Iran Tensions
Gold and silver prices rose on July 27 as investors sought safe-haven assets due to escalating US-Iran tensions. The geopolitical situation has kept crude oil costs elevated, driving up inflationary pressures.
Spot gold increased by 0.78 percent to $4,102.60 per ounce, while silver gained 1.55 percent to trade at $59.82 per ounce on the Comex exchange.
The domestic market for precious metals mirrored these global movements, with MCX spot gold closing at Rs 1,43,238 per 10 grams in the previous session and rising by 0.17 percent to Rs 1,43,066 per 10 grams after the international trend. Silver futures for September delivery climbed 1.33 percent to Rs 2,22,301 per kilogram.
