Gold Prices Soar Amidst Low Interest Rates and Inflation Concerns
The price of gold has been steadily increasing over the years, rising from $1,585 per ounce in 2020 to more than $4,500 per ounce today.
This upward trend is largely driven by investors seeking a safe place to park their wealth amidst low central bank interest rates and inflation concerns. As a result, precious metals like gold have become an attractive option for diversification and risk management.
Economists at Deutsche Bank have found that central banks worldwide are increasingly buying gold, with notable increases in China, Russia, India, Turkey, and emerging markets.
According to the study, this trend could continue, leading to a price of $8,000 per ounce by 2031, twice its current value. However, not all experts agree on this prediction.
