Gold Prices Soar as Demand Surges Amid Fresh Market Positions
Gold and silver prices rose on August 24 due to firm demand in the spot market. Analysts attributed this increase to the creation of fresh positions by market participants, supported by strong demand.
The price of gold contracts for October delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) increased by Rs 1,283, or 0.79%, to Rs 1,63,721 per 10 grams.
In overseas markets, gold futures also advanced, rising 0.99% to $4,648.78 per ounce in New York.
