Global gold prices saw a significant jump on Thursday, September 10, due to the depreciation of the US dollar. According to a Reuters report, spot gold prices rose by 0.3 percent to $4,414.28 per ounce at 4:19 PM GMT.

The price increase is being closely watched as investors await new US inflation data, which will influence the Federal Reserve's interest rate trajectory and impact the gold market.

The domestic market also saw a reduction in gold prices, with good quality or 22-carat gold decreasing by BDT 1,108 per bhori. The price of this quality gold is now BDT 2,34,038 per bhori, including VAT.
