Gold Prices Soar by 2,500 Rupees in Nepal's Latest Market Shift

The price of gold in Nepal has seen a significant increase on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers. The organization fixed the day's trading rate at 307,400 rupees per tola, which is a 2,500 rupee rise from the previous day's rate.

This marks the first time gold prices have increased in recent weeks, as they had been steadily falling over the course of a week. Last Friday's rate stood at 318,500 rupees per tola, but over the past seven days, prices have actually decreased by 11,100 rupees.

The price of silver has also seen an increase on Friday, rising by 40 rupees per tola to reach 4,765 rupees. This is up from the previous day's rate of 4,725 rupees, but still lower than last Friday's rate of 4,965 rupees.
