Gold Prices Soar By Rs1,700 Per Tola In Pakistan Amid Global Gains
Gold prices surged in Pakistan's local market on Monday following gains in the international bullion market. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs1,700 to Rs428,436. The APGJSA reported that the price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs1,457, reaching Rs367,314.
The gains in gold prices were driven by an increase in the international market, where gold gained $17 to trade at $4,060 per ounce, including a premium of $20. Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs54 per tola to Rs6,291.
