Gold prices in Bhubaneswar rose on August 13, 2026, as domestic and international bullion markets showed strength. The current price of 24-karat gold is ₹15,513 per gram, while 22-karat gold stands at ₹14,220 per gram.

In comparison to the previous update, 24K gold gained ₹27 per gram, 22K gold rose by ₹25 per gram, and 18K gold increased by ₹21 per gram. This is largely due to softer US inflation, which reduced expectations of a September Federal Reserve rate hike.

The tame US consumer inflation reading of 0.1% in July eased annual inflation to 3.4%, matching market expectations. As a result, traders are pricing in around a 40% probability of a September Fed rate hike, down from about 54% a week earlier.
