Gold Prices Soar in Bihar as Market Volatility Continues

The gold market in Bihar, India saw significant fluctuations over the past few months. In June, the rate of 24k gold started at ₹1,57,080 per 10 grams on June 01 and fell to a low of ₹1,41,370 by June 26 before recovering to ₹1,41,970 by month's end.

However, in July, prices rose to ₹1,47,060, only to settle at ₹1,44,390 by the end of the month. August saw a significant increase, with prices reaching ₹1,52,450 per 10 grams by August 09.

The rising trend continues, as market volatility pushes prices up. Analysts note that gold purity is measured in karats, with 24K being the purest form but too soft for jewelry. The final showroom price includes base gold price, making charges, and a 3% GST.
