Gold Prices Soar in India as 24-Carat Surges by Rs 880

Gold prices in India saw a significant increase on August 24, 2026. The price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs 880 to Rs 1,63,970 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold increased by Rs 800 to Rs 1,50,300 per 10 grams.

The 18 Carat gold rate was recorded at Rs 1,22,930 per 10 grams, which is an increase of Rs 610 in the last 24 hours. These rates are applicable across major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Bhubaneswar.

Silver prices, however, remained unchanged at Rs 2,60,000 per kilogram on Monday. The price of silver in Bhubaneswar also saw no change and is recorded at Rs 2,70,000 today.
