Gold Prices Soar in Indian Cities
Gold prices in Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata surged on August 30, 2026. In Delhi, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold was Rs. 1,45,200, while the rate for 24-carat gold stood at Rs. 1,58,390. The rates were similar in Mumbai and Kolkata, with both cities recording a price of Rs. 1,45,050 for 22-carat gold and Rs. 1,58,240 for 24-carat gold.
The silver rate in Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata was steady at Rs. 2,60,000 per kilogram. According to the report, the gold rates have been fluctuating in the international market over the past few weeks, experiencing a fall during the wedding season.
