Gold Prices Soar in India's Domestic Bullion Markets Amid Marginal Decline in Silver
Gold prices have surged in India's domestic bullion markets, while silver has experienced a marginal decline. The surge in gold prices saw rates increase by Rs 3,650 to Rs 3,980 per 10 grams in most major bullion markets across the country, except Chennai, where they rose by Rs 3,900 to Rs 4,250 per 10 grams.
The sharp rise has pushed the price of 24-carat gold between Rs 1,49,740 and Rs 1,50,010 per 10 grams in most bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold is trading at Rs 1,37,260 to Rs 1,37,510 per 10 grams.
The decline in silver prices has seen the precious metal trade at Rs 2,39,200 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market. This marginal decline contrasts with the significant increase in gold prices across various markets.
