Gold Prices Soar in Nepal, Silver Hits New Low
The gold price in Nepal has increased by Rs 800 per tola, reaching Rs 284,000. In contrast, silver prices have declined, falling by Rs 10 per tola to trade at Rs 4,310.
This change is according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), which reported these new prices on July 30.
The price of fine gold had previously stood at Rs 283,200 per tola, while silver was trading at Rs 4,320 per tola. Internationally, gold is being traded at USD 4,076 per ounce, and silver at USD 57 per ounce, as reported by international media.
