Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan Amid International Market Surge
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association released rates showing that gold prices surged in the local market on Monday.
24-karat gold per tola saw a significant increase, rising by Rs4,000 to settle at Rs431,736. Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,430 to Rs370,144, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs3,145 to Rs339,311.
The association also reported that the price of silver per tola increased by Rs100 to Rs6,397, with 10 grams of silver rising by Rs86 to Rs5,484. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $40 to $4,093 per ounce, and the price of silver rose by $1.00 to $59.18 per ounce.
