Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan Amid International Rise
The prices of gold have risen sharply in Pakistan's local market. According to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola has increased by Rs2,200 to settle at Rs456,536. This means a significant rise for investors holding gold assets.
Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold has also seen an increase. The association reported that the price of gold has risen by $22 to $4,341 per ounce.
The prices of silver, on the other hand, have decreased. According to the association, the price of silver per tola fell by Rs113 to Rs6,826, while 10 grams of silver decreased in value by Rs97 to Rs5,852. The international market has also reflected a decline in silver prices, with a drop of $1.13 to $63.47 per ounce.
