Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan as International Market Remains Steady

The price of gold in Pakistan has increased significantly, rising by Rs4,200 per tola to Rs463,936. This increase was recorded on Wednesday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The association also reported that the price of 24-karat gold for 10 grams rose by Rs3,601 to Rs397,750. Additionally, the price of 22-karat gold of 10 grams increased by Rs3,301 to Rs364,617.

In contrast, the international market showed a more modest increase, with gold quoted at $4,415 per ounce, up by $42 from the previous day. Silver prices also rose, with 24-karat silver increasing by Rs146 per tola to Rs7,111 and 24-karat silver for 10 grams rising by Rs125 to Rs6,096.
