Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan as Local Market Follows International Trend

The price of gold has increased in Pakistan's local market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs2,200 to settle at Rs456,536. This means that 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,887 to Rs391,406.

The association also reported an increase in the international market, where the price of gold rose by $22 to $4,341 per ounce.
