Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan Market as International Rate Reaches $4,155

Gold prices surged in the local market on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs10,000 to reach Rs437,936, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The association reported that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose by Rs8,573 to Rs375,459, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed by Rs7,859 to Rs344,183.

The international market also saw an increase in gold prices, with the price per ounce rising by $100 to $4,155. The association noted that silver prices followed a similar trend in the local market, with the price of silver per tola increasing by Rs273 to Rs6,624 and the price of 10 grams of silver rising by Rs235 to Rs5,679.
