Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan, Mirroring Global Gains
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday, mirroring gains in the global market. The price of gold per tola rose to Rs449,236 after a gain of Rs11,300 during the day.
In comparison to Wednesday's rate, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported an increase of Rs9,688 for 10-gram gold, which was sold at Rs385,147.
The international rate of gold also saw a rise, up by $113 to reach $4,268 per ounce with a premium of $20. Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs35 to reach Rs6,659 per tola.
