Gold Prices Soar on Easing Inflation and Weaker US Dollar
Gold prices surged on September 3 as market sentiment shifted in favor of bullion due to easing inflation concerns and a weaker US dollar. The COMEX gold futures saw a significant increase, trading 1.19% higher at $4,467.20 per ounce during early trading.
The stronger price trend was also observed in the domestic market, with MCX futures for October closing the previous session with a 0.09% increase to Rs 1,52,544 per 10 grams. Silver contract for December surged 0.07% to Rs 2,36,428 per kilogram.
The weaker US dollar and easing inflation concerns provided support to bullion prices, contributing to the upward trend in gold and silver markets.
