Gold Prices Soar on Firm Demand and Speculator Activity
Gold futures in India have seen a price increase due to robust demand from market participants. On September 11, 2026, gold prices rose by Rs 231 to Rs 1.53 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade.
The price surge was attributed to speculators creating fresh positions on firm spot demand. The yellow metal contract for the October delivery traded higher by 0.15% in 867 lots.
Analysts stated that fresh positions by market participants led to a rise in the precious metal's prices. As a result, gold futures rose 0.47% to $4,419.57 per ounce in New York.
