Gold Prices Soar Rs 190 to Rs 1.52 Lakh Amid Strong Demand
Gold prices surged in India on Wednesday, supported by fresh buying and firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold contract for October delivery rose to Rs 1,52,769 per 10 grams, a gain of Rs 190 or 0.12 percent from the previous day.
The market analysts attributed the rise in prices to fresh positions created by participants amidst firm demand in the spot market. This is reflected in international markets as well, where gold futures climbed 0.65 percent to USD 4,384.16 per ounce in New York.
