Gold Prices Soar to Rs 1.52 Lakh Per 10 Grams on Strong Demand and Speculation
Gold prices in India surged to Rs 1.52 lakh per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to strong spot demand and fresh speculative positions.
The price of gold futures for October delivery traded higher by Rs 455, or 0.3%, at Rs 1,52,275 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,127 lots on the MCX.
Analysts said that fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in precious metal prices.
