Gold Prices Soar to Three-Month High Amid Dollar Concerns
Gold prices have reached their highest level in over three months, rising to $4,676.75 per troy ounce on Tuesday.
The increase is largely attributed to concerns about a weakening U.S. dollar and the Federal Reserve's interest rate direction, which has yet to provide clear signals for combating inflation.
U.S. Treasury Department policy, including a recent announcement to double long-term government bond buyback operations, has also contributed to market uncertainty and driven investors towards gold as a safe-haven asset.
The gold price rally is expected to continue, with TD Securities analysts predicting dollar depreciation concerns will support prices in the coming weeks.
