Gold Prices Soar to Two-Month High Amid Strong Investment Demand
Gold prices in India have hit a two-month high of Rs 1.57 lakh per 10 grams, driven by strong investment demand and safe-haven buying.
The yellow metal rose by Rs 1,200 to reach this level on Tuesday, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
Gold had last traded near these levels on June 12, when it quoted Rs 1,56,900 per 10 grams.
Silver also soared, reaching its highest level in more than two months at Rs 2,42,000 per kilogram, a gain of Rs 2,000 from the previous day's closing price.
