Gold Prices Soar While Silver Offers Relief in India
Gold prices in India have seen an increase on August 16, while silver prices offer some relief. The price of 24-carat gold has risen to 155,130 rupees per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold at 142,200 rupees and 18-carat gold at 116,350 rupees per 10 grams.
The price of silver on August 16 is 250 rupees per gram, down slightly from the previous day's price of 254.90 rupees per gram.
Compared to August 15, there has been an increase in gold prices across major cities in India, including Nagpur, Nashik, Surat, Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad. For instance, in Nagpur, the price of 22-carat gold is 142,200 rupees per 10 grams, while the price of 24-carat gold is 155,130 rupees.
