Gold Prices Spike in Nepal as Silver Rates Plummet

The price of gold has increased in Nepal's local market by Rs 2,800 per tola today. This change is part of a broader trend, with fine gold now trading at Rs 319,500 per tola. By contrast, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 10 per tola.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations sets these prices daily. According to their latest update, the current market rate for fine gold is higher than last Friday's rate of Rs 316,700 per tola.

The global market also shows a rise in gold prices, with $4,623 being traded per ounce. In contrast, silver prices have dropped internationally, trading at $69 per ounce today.
