Gold Prices Stabilize Near One-Month Low Ahead of Fed Decision
Gold prices held steady on Tuesday after hitting a one-month low in the previous session. Despite this, investors remain cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy decision for clues on future monetary policy.
The spot price of gold remained unchanged at $4,300.96 per ounce, while US gold futures fell 0.3 percent to $4,341.10 per ounce.
Silver prices saw a slight increase, rising 0.1 percent to $63.28 per ounce, but platinum and palladium both declined. Platinum dropped 0.1 percent to $1,757.46, while palladium fell 0.7 percent to $1,283.61.
