Gold prices have stabilized after a three-session decline, but investors remain cautious due to rising expectations of a Federal Reserve interest rate hike. According to commodity expert Ajay Kedia, the recent hawkish shift in Fed expectations has put downward pressure on bullion.

The spot price of 24-carat gold in Delhi remained steady at Rs 1,54,910 per 10 grams, while Mumbai's rate stood at Rs 1,54,630 per 10 grams. The prices have gained 47.34% over the past year.

Silver prices also saw minor movements, with nationally traded 999 fine silver priced at Rs 2,39,800 per kg and 925 sterling silver standing at Rs 2,21,815 per kg. Silver has delivered an even stronger return over the past year, gaining 92.63% compared to its level in September 2025.

The international market also showed minor variations, with gold on the US Comex trading 0.26% higher at USD 4,493.30 per ounce and silver up 0.64% at USD 66.65 per ounce.
