Gold Prices Steady Near $4,456 Amid Fed Decision Uncertainty
Gold prices remained relatively stable near $4,456 an ounce on September 10 as investors tracked the Federal Reserve's upcoming rate decision and rising tensions between the US and Iran.
The Comex gold futures were down 0.10% at around $4,456 per ounce during morning trade, while Comex silver declined 1.04% to $67.93 per ounce.
On the domestic market, MCX gold futures for the October contract closed Wednesday 0.03% lower at ₹1,53,721 per 10 grams, but MCX silver gained 2.04% to ₹2,44,300 per kilogram.
The rising US-Iran tensions and crude oil prices crossing $100 a barrel have added uncertainty to global markets, influencing gold and silver prices in India.
