Gold Prices Surge 1% as Dollar Weakens
Gold prices have risen for the fourth consecutive session, hitting their highest level in seven weeks. The increase of 1% on Thursday was supported by a weaker US dollar and lower US Treasury yields.
Spot gold gained to $4,285.69 per ounce, marking its highest level since June 18. This surge is a continuation of the recent trend, with US gold futures also climbing to $4,345.50, up 0.9% from the previous day's close.
The prices of other precious metals have also seen an increase: spot silver rose to $62.34 per ounce, while platinum gained to $1,750.15 and palladium increased to $1,377.00.
