Gold Prices Surge Across All Three Purity Levels
The price of gold rose across all three purity levels on September 12. 24K gold, which has 99.9% purity, increased by ₹152 per gram to ₹15,441 from ₹15,289. Similarly, 22K gold with 91.6% purity and 18K gold with 75% purity saw a jump of ₹139 and ₹114 respectively.
The price hike is as follows: 24K gold rose by ₹152 per gram to ₹15,441 from ₹15,289, while 22K gold increased by ₹139 to ₹14,154 from ₹14,015. 18K gold climbed by ₹114 to ₹11,581 from ₹11,467 per gram.
Gold prices in major Indian cities also saw a surge on the same day. In Chennai, 24K gold was priced at ₹15,441, while in Mumbai and Kolkata it was priced at ₹15,456 and ₹15,441 respectively.
