Gold Prices Surge Across India Amid Rise to Rs 14,010 Per Gram

Gold prices rose on Saturday, August 8, 2026, as major jewellery brands posted higher rates compared to Friday. The increase in gold prices was seen across various cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru.

Tanishq's price for 22k gold jewellery is now at Rs 14,010 per gram, up from Rs 13,910 per gram on Friday. Malabar Gold & Diamonds Jewellers' 22k gold jewellery price today is Rs 13,965 per gram, a rise from Rs 13,740 per gram yesterday.

IBJA's indicative retail selling gold and silver rates for August 7, 2026, show that fine gold (999) is priced at ₹14,962 per gram, while 22 KT Gold is priced at ₹14,603 per gram. Silver (999) is priced at ₹2,31,381 per kg.
