Gold Prices Surge Across India as 24K Rises to ₹15,441

Gold prices in India rose across all three purity levels on September 12. The price of 24K gold increased by ₹152 per gram to ₹15,441 from ₹15,289, while 22K gold rose by ₹139 to ₹14,154 from ₹14,015. 18K gold also climbed by ₹114 to ₹11,581 from ₹11,467 per gram.

The price hike was observed in major Indian cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram. The prices of gold remain high due to its reputation as a safe-haven asset, particularly during periods of economic uncertainty.
