Gold Prices Surge After Brief Decline
Gold prices have made a comeback in both local and international markets after experiencing a brief decline on Saturday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold has increased by Rs1,700 to reach Rs428,436, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,457 to Rs367,314.
Silver prices also saw an uptick, with the price of one tola of silver increasing by Rs54 to Rs6,291. In the international market, the price of gold per ounce climbed by $17 to reach $4,060.
Market experts suggest that if uncertainty in global financial markets persists, gold prices may continue to rise as investors view gold as a safe-haven asset during times of economic instability, leading to higher demand and prices.
