Gold Prices Surge Amid Lower Oil Prices
Gold prices rose on Tuesday due to lower oil prices, which eased inflation concerns and reduced expectations of further US interest rate increases.
The spot gold price gained 1 percent to $4,092.43 per ounce, while US gold futures climbed 1.5 percent to $4,149.50 per ounce.
Among other precious metals, silver prices rose 2.8 percent to $59.82 per ounce, with platinum advancing 7.1 percent to $1,745.42 per ounce and palladium also gaining 7.1 percent to $1,355.13 per ounce.
