Gold Prices Surge by Rs3,000 in Pakistan's Local Market
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday, with 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs3,000 to reach Rs430,436.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased in price, gaining Rs2,572 to settle at Rs369,029.
Additionally, the price of 22-karat gold rose by Rs2,357 to reach Rs338,288.
In international markets, the price of gold climbed by $30 to $4,080 per ounce, according to the association.
Silver prices also saw an upward trend in Pakistan's local market, with silver per tola increasing by Rs79 to Rs6,294 and 10 grams of silver rising by Rs68 to Rs5,396.
