Gold prices in Bengaluru and Chennai have surged on August 8, 2026. According to reports, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold in Bengaluru is now at Rs. 1,39,650 with a hike of Rs. 1000 from yesterday's rate. The price of 24-carat gold in the same city has reached Rs. 1,52,350 with an increase of Rs. 1090.

In Chennai, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold is at Rs. 1,39,000 while the price of 24-carat gold is at Rs. 1,51,640.

The silver rate in both cities has also seen a hike, with Bengaluru seeing a price of Rs. 2,45,000 per kilogram and Chennai at Rs. 2,50,000.
