India saw a significant increase in gold prices on August 11, as 24K gold rose ₹316 to ₹15,513 per gram. The jump is substantial, with a gain of roughly 2.08% in a single session.

The move puts gold back above the ₹15,500 mark after it slipped below that level in the previous session. The prices for 22K and 18K gold also saw an increase, climbing ₹290 to ₹14,220 per gram and ₹237 to ₹11,635 per gram respectively.

For buyers, the higher rates mean a noticeably higher entry price than they did in the previous session. However, investors who already hold gold are seeing the value of their holdings rise along with the latest move.
