Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Amid Global Market Increase

The prices of gold in Pakistan's local market saw a significant increase on Saturday. According to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs5,700 to settle at Rs482,936.

Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased in value by Rs4,972 to Rs414,039. The price of 22-karat gold also saw an increase, rising by Rs4,558 to Rs379,549.

The association reported that the international market saw a corresponding rise in gold prices, with the price per ounce increasing by $57 to $4,604.
