Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Amid International Market Gains

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday after tracking gains in the international bullion market. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,700 to Rs428,436.

The price of 10 grams of gold also saw a significant increase, reaching Rs367,314 after rising by Rs1,457. This latest hike comes on the heels of a sharp decline on Saturday when the price of gold per tola had fallen by Rs3,700 to Rs426,736.

In contrast, silver prices moved higher as well, with the price of silver per tola increasing by Rs54 to Rs6,291. The global market saw gains in gold and silver prices, with the international rate for gold climbing by $17 per ounce to $4,060, including a $20 premium.
