Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Following International Market Gains

The gold price in Pakistan increased on August 4, 2026, following gains in the international market. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,700 to reach Rs428,436.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs1,457, reaching Rs367,314. This latest increase comes after a sharp decline on Saturday, when the price of gold per tola had fallen by Rs3,700 to Rs426,736 in Pakistan.

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $17 per ounce, taking the global rate to $4,060 per ounce, including a $20 premium. The silver prices also moved higher, with the price of silver per tola increasing by Rs54 to Rs6,291.
