Gold Prices Surge, Mining Stocks Poised for New All-Time Highs
Gold prices have risen from around $4,000 to about $4,400 in recent times, prompting some experts to predict new all-time highs for mining stocks. Markus Bußler is particularly optimistic about gold and silver mining companies, viewing pullbacks as buying opportunities.
Bußler expects numerous producers and exploration companies with promising projects to reach new all-time highs, many of which have lost around 50% from their previous highs. This theoretically leaves them with more than 100% upside potential.
One such company is Desert Gold, set to begin gold production soon at its SMSZ project in western Mali. The timing could hardly be better for the stock to take off again, as investors eagerly await the start of production and the announcement of this milestone is likely to have a positive impact on the share price.
