Gold Prices Surge Past $4,200 Per Ounce Amid Market Volatility
Gold prices have surged to their highest level in nearly a month, surpassing $4,200 per ounce for the first time since July 6. According to market data, December gold futures on the Comex exchange increased by 1.15% and reached $4,200.4 per ounce at 8:24 Moscow time.
The prices continued to rise, reaching $4,201.9 per ounce just a few minutes later, marking an increase of 1.19% compared to the previous session.
Comex is one of the world's largest commodity exchanges, and its gold futures contracts are traded in large volumes, often reflecting investors' expectations for precious metals.
