Gold Prices Surge Rs 190 to Rs 1,52,769 on Strong Demand
Gold prices in India rose on Wednesday due to strong demand for the precious metal. According to data from the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold futures contracts for October delivery traded at Rs 1,52,769 per 10 grams, up by Rs 190 or 0.12%.
The increase in gold prices was attributed to market participants creating fresh positions on firm spot demand, analysts said.
