Gold Prices Surge to Rs 1.54 Lakh per 10 Grams on Fourth Straight Day
Gold prices in Delhi rose by Rs 200 to Rs 1.54 lakh per 10 grams on Friday, marking its fourth consecutive day of gains.
The increase was driven by a sharp rally in overseas markets, with spot gold rising USD 84.74 (2%) to USD 4,325.43 per ounce and silver gaining over 4% to around USD 64 an ounce.
Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at Lemonn Markets Desk, attributed the rally to a weak dollar, easing inflation expectations, and continued demand for bullion ahead of the US non-farm payrolls report.
