Gold Prices Volatile in Baghdad and Erbil Markets

Gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil have been volatile this week, fluctuating between 941,000 and 960,000 IQD per mithqal (five grams) on Wednesday. In the capital's Al-Nahr Street market, 21-carat gold was selling for 945,000 IQD, while buyers could purchase it for 941,000 IQD, down from Tuesday's prices.

The selling price of 21-carat Iraqi gold stood at 915,000 IQD per mithqal, with a buying price of 911,000 IQD. At local jewelry stores, the price range varied between 945,000 and 955,000 IQD for 21-carat Gulf gold, while Iraqi gold ranged from 915,000 to 925,000 IQD.

In Erbil, the market was slightly more stable, with 22-carat gold selling for 978,000 IQD per mithqal. Meanwhile, 21-carat gold reached 933,000 IQD and 18-carat gold stood at 800,000 IQD.
