Gold Reaches Three-Month High Amid Market Volatility
Gold prices have reached their highest level in over three months, climbing to $4,617 per ounce. This marks a third consecutive weekly gain for gold, with spot gold rising by 5% since last week.
The precious metal's price surge comes as the US dollar weakens and investors seek safe-haven assets amid market volatility.
US gold futures also gained 1.7%, settling at $4,647 per ounce. Other precious metals such as silver, platinum, and palladium have followed suit, with spot silver rising 2% to $69.43 per ounce, platinum gaining 3.8% to $1,897.36, and palladium advancing 0.6% to $1,342.30.
