Gold Rises in Delhi Amid Geopolitical Tensions
Gold prices rose by Rs 100 to Rs 1,47,500 per 10 grams in Delhi on Tuesday. This is despite a mixed trend in international markets.
Silver remained flat at Rs 2,26,500 per kilogram, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
Traders said gold saw modest buying in the domestic market, while silver traded within a narrow range.
The price increase for gold was driven by investors maintaining a cautious stance amid ongoing US-Iran diplomatic developments and uncertainty surrounding the Federal Reserve's policy outlook, according to Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst - Commodities at HDFC Securities.
